  1. OPERATING HOURS
    INCREASE PARK HOURS from Current Hours

    • Fridays: 8am-9pm all year
    • Saturdays and Sundays May-October--8am-9pm
  2. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS -- TOP PRIORITY - ROOF REPLACEMENT

    1. PRIORITY 1 - Install New Roof - Consider adding a Green Roof after the Repair
    2. Install new HVAC unit with thermostat control for every room
    3. Replace Light Fixtures in Large Conference Room - these have been in disrepair for years
    4. Install 12 Permanent Garbage Cans - with Water Deflecting shields on Cement Foundations - like in playground
    5. Replace all walkways in the park - bringing them up to grade
    6. Install video security system
    7. REPAIR windows - so they can open
  3. BUDGET ITEMS

    1. Increase Materials and Supplies Increase from $3,500 to $9,000
    2. Program Expense - Increase $6,000 over Basic Allotment
      We are requesting a $5000 increase over budgeted amount for this category support the music series in our park, to CREATE adult programming, and to produce 4 movies per summer
    3. ADDITION - Full time Physical Instructor Position
      We propose that this position will allow the Physical Instructor to have time to design and implement programming for teens, adults and senior adults, as well as time to create technique classes for children
    4. ADDITION - Full time Attendant (janitor) Position
      Due to heavy park usage, increased hours and the need to borrow employees from other parks to keep up with the work--we request that we have two full time attendants on staff
    5. ADDITION - Part time Arts and Crafts Instructor Position
      1,040 hours
    6. ADDITION - 1 rec leader--1040 hours-total 4 rec leaders
      The program has expanded, parents have requested more focused programming, and we have borrowed a rec leader from another park all year
    7. PLEASE RETAIN—Seasonal Landscaper and the Seasonal Attendant Position
      800 hours
